The Short Version

barcelona-rent.fyi is a free tool. We don't sell your data, we don't have accounts, and we don't collect payment information. The rent data we display comes from public sources (Generalitat de Catalunya / INCASOL).

What We Collect

Newsletter (optional)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you occasional updates about Barcelona rent trends. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Rent Comparisons

When you use our rent calculator, we may save anonymous data (rent amount, apartment size, neighborhood) to calculate community averages. This data is not linked to you personally - we don't know who submitted it.

Basic Analytics

Like most websites, we collect basic usage data (pages visited, browser type, country) to understand how people use the site. This helps us improve the tools.

What We Don't Collect

• No accounts or passwords
• No credit card or payment information
• No personal addresses
• No tracking across other websites

Data Sources

All rent price data comes from publicly available sources, primarily INCASOL (Institut Català del Sòl) via the Generalitat de Catalunya. We simply make this public data easier to explore and compare.

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for our database and Vercel for hosting. Both are reputable services with their own privacy policies. We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Your Rights

If you've subscribed to the newsletter and want to be removed, just unsubscribe or email us. Since we don't collect personal data beyond that, there's not much else to delete.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We'll keep it simple.
