Two different things

The statistics are not ours. Rent and sale prices are published by the Generalitat de Catalunya, and the descriptive figures on the barri pages by the Ajuntament de Barcelona. Both are public, both are free at source under their own open licences, and nothing here restricts them. If you want the raw data with no conditions at all, take it from them — the links are below.

The compilation is ours. One consistent quarterly series out of per-year spreadsheets published in two different layouts, with the neighbourhood codes reconciled, the gaps marked, and the whole thing re-checked on every import. That work is © barcelona-rent.fyi.

What you can do

Use the figures in an article, a paper, an app, a dashboard, a thesis — including commercially. Cache what you fetch for as long as you like. Show it to your own users. No permission needed and nothing to sign.

Credit it where the numbers appear:

What we ask you not to do

Don’t republish the compiled series as a bulk dataset — a mirror ofhistory.jsonoffered as someone else’s data product. That is the one use that takes the work and leaves nothing, and it is the reason this page exists at all.

Everything short of that is fine. If you are unsure which side of the line you are on, you are probably fine; ask if it matters.

Sources

INCASÒL rental statistics for rent, registered-transaction statistics for sale prices, and Barcelona open data for residents, dwellings, income and boundaries. Those city datasets are CC BY 4.0 and are credited as such on the pages that use them.

The compilation is checked against the published sources on every import, but it is offered as-is. If a figure here matters to a decision that matters, check it against the source above.
